Dental Implants
At Hobby Dental, we have several solutions for missing teeth. Each has its own benefits, and the one we suggest really depends on your specific needs.
Dental implants are one of the most popular modern tooth replacement options we offer. Millions of people have dental implants that look and feel natural and last for many years. It’s the only option that actually keeps your jaw healthy by replacing the missing tooth root.
Bridges are another great choice for replacing a missing tooth. A bridge is made up of an artificial tooth attached to crowns. The crowns are then attached to your natural teeth for support. We can also add a dental implant to hold the artificial tooth securely in place.
Full and partial dentures have been used for many years with great success. You don’t have to worry that your new teeth will look fake because dentures made today look natural and fit your mouth comfortably. Since they look so real, nobody will ever know you have dentures unless you tell them!
You can see that there are lots of options for replacing your missing teeth. Take the first step, and give our Houston dental office a call today. We’ll be happy to arrange a free consultation with Dr. Missonne to talk about your needs.
Six Month Smiles
We offer Six Month Smiles clear braces, and yes, it is possible to straighten crooked teeth in just six months. Of course, each person has different needs, which makes it hard to say exactly how long treatment will take before we can examine your teeth. In most cases, though, it usually takes between six and nine months.
Six Month Smiles work like regular braces, but they just straighten the teeth that show when you smile. Regular braces are designed to fix problems with your dental bite (the way your teeth come together when you close your mouth). Many people who go through treatment with regular braces need to have their dental bite corrected before their teeth can be straightened.
Six Month Smiles clear braces are not designed to change your dental bite – they just straighten your front teeth. They work quickly because your front teeth are easier to straighten than your back teeth.
The first step is to call our Houston dental office to arrange a free consultation with Dr. Missonne. He’ll answer all your questions, talk to you about what’s involved with the process, and describe the results you can expect to see. Please give us a call to learn more about treatment with Six Month Smiles clear braces.
Tooth Extraction
The price of extracting a tooth is different from one person to the next. The cost really depends on the condition of your tooth and how complicated the procedure will be. No two patients are alike, so it’s hard to know what your case involves until we see you.
We think of extracting a tooth as a last resort when we have no other options left that would allow you to keep your tooth. In some cases, there may be other affordable procedures we can recommend for saving your tooth.
Missing teeth can lead to more serious oral health problems, so our goal is to help you keep all your teeth for as long as possible. Of course, the final decision about your treatment is always up to you.
If we agree that tooth extraction is your best option, you can be confident we will do everything to make you comfortable. Our caring team understands that this can be a stressful procedure for you, and we’ll be with you every step of the way.
The first step is to contact our office to set up a consultation with Dr. Missonne. He will need to perform an exam and take x-rays of your teeth to see exactly what’s going on with your tooth.
